There has been a surge in searches for businesses and products that are Black-owned. One can say that the Greenwood District is back but nationwide, not connected by multiple blocks as was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but connected by the internet.
Black people and those who want to support Black businesses will soon have a brand new and easier way to search and find Black-owned business. Google is creating a new Black-owned feature to the Google Shopping Tab! Shoppers can simply visit the Google Merchant Help Center to add this Black-owned feature.
The feature isn’t available right now, but will become available in the coming months.
