Founder of Negro Baseball League Andrew RUBE Foster Would Be Proud That Negro League Stats Are Finally Included In Official MLB

The founder of the National Negro League Andrew Rube Foster would certainly be proud today if he was alive because the Negro League Teams, players and statistics are now a part of the official Major League Baseball records.

According to NBC, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred stated that all who love baseball have “long known that the Negro Leagues produced many of our game’s best players, innovations and triumph against a backdrop of injustice.” He continued with being ” grateful to count the players of hte Negro Leagues where they belong, as Major Leaguers within the official historical record.”

Though the Negro League never needed any validation for their awesome talent, skill and poise along with what they contributed to society and Black America, this is a historic moment for the United States as it reckons with its past of racism and segregation in attempts to right the wrongs that hurt so many.
