The announcement came on the twitter account of Herb Wesson Jr.. Figueroa Street will be renamed Kobe Bryant Blvd.

Some of his entrepreneurial business ventures include Kobe Inc., Granity Studios for novels and film, and Bryant-Stibel, a venture capital firm, but what the business that he was spotlighted for after his death was Mamba Sports Academy which had multiple locations.
