Now that TikTok is shutting down seemingly permanently for the United States of America and the audience that basically carried the platform with the most users on the globe, TikTokers are scrambling to for a new social media home. That home may be the social media app called Fanbase which is climbing the social media charts fast, landing in the top ten, having earned over 5 million dollars, the latest boost coming since the call for TikTok’s shut down.
While TikTokers are making up their minds, Fanbase, a social media app that is owned and founded in 2018 by Black American entrepreneur Isaac Hayes III, has made available its content migration tool so that TikTok users won’t lose all their valuable content when TikTok goes blank. Isaac Hayes III discussed how he patented and invented content migration from TikTok, and Fanbase has had it since before 2025; in Isaac Hayes III words “for over a year now“.
This is a great way to gain many TikTokers over to his app which is very similar to TikTok. By clicking on the Flickz, the icon that looks like a director’s cut to the left top of the Fanbase screen, users will activate the short form video feature like TikTok. It is this short form video that attracts users to TikTok, but most of all, it’s TikTok’s algorithm which users hope to gain soon with their migration to Fanbase.

For right now, TikTok users can successfully migrate their videos from TikTok to Fanbase before the deadline by following the simple instructions provided by Fanbase, and if there is any trouble, they also have a way to contact support on their app.
